I’m a Dinky Do-Do

     And I live high in a tree.

You may have heard of do-dos

     But have you heard of me?

 

I’m a Dinky D0-Do

     And I whistle in the night.

I do this whilst you’re fast asleep

     In case you have a fright.

 

I’m a Dinky Do-Do

     And I live on slugs and snails,

But when there aren’t enough of them,

     I’ll crunch my way through nails.

 

I’m a Dinky Do-Do

     And my tongue is long and blue,

But I’m a silly-billy

     And for certain this is true.
