JOSIE'S POEMS

Limericks

By Josie Whitehead

IN THE COUNTRY
WHERE NO HUMANS GO
(A Limerick)

By Josie Whitehead

In the country where no humans go
I think that you really should know:
     Humans wouldn't survive
     For they're eaten alive -
And their bones are then buried in snow.

In the country where no humans go

Live some creatures that only I know:

     There's a big bamzamboodle

      Who lives with a poodle

And a dingledy dangledy do.

In the country where no humans go

Lives a very peculiar crow:

He has feathers of green -

     Quite resplendent and clean

                       T ho u g h

How on earth do you think that know?

In the country where no humans go?
Oh I heard of this place long ago -
But we poets tell lies - (shhh)
     And this fact's no surprise - - -
So, after my lying... I'll go.

                                                          Bye Bye
