May I recommend teachers this poem: HERE and HERE
Poetry is the one arts subject that links so well to art, photography, film, animation, music and drama of course. If you aren't teaching your children this fact - well, you've missed something important. So, to music, let your children both recite and also sing to poems: See end of list: HERE Others have added their skills, including animation, music, art etc etc. Why not add something yourself and let the world know of it.
