My love for you will fly across the miles

Like a bird surging forward on its migration route.

 

It will reach to you on the wings of wind

And, as lightly as a feather, touch your cheek.

 

It will cause your heart to stir and wonder

What has touched you and warmed you so.

 

My love for you will curl around your heart

And nestle close to you as the day draws to its end.

 

And, when I am no longer here, my love will

Still live and breathe within your being for

 

It is the finest gift that one person can give

To another person in this world –
