WIGGLY SQUIGGLY WORM

By Josie Whitehead

Wiggly Squiggly Worm

The worm is wiggly squiggly

     In a wiggly squiggly way.

He loves to tunnel underground.

That’s how he spends his day.

He doesn’t often show his face

     Above the ground, for sure.

He’d soon make a bird supper

     And not wriggle any more.

But underground he toils away.

     He chews up everything.

Then when you dig your garden

You will see him in the spring.
