CHOCOLATE EASTER EGGS

By Josie Whitehead

Chocolate Easter Eggs

Lovely, luscious, chocolate eggs -
     Yummy yummy yummy;
Enjoyed especially by your mouth
      And also by your tummy!

Lovely, luscious, chocolate eggs -
     With sweet sweet chocolate filling,
But, after eating, brush your teeth.
     You’ll not like dentist’s drilling!

Lovely, luscious, chocolate eggs -
     Sweet upon your lips,
But, don’t eat many chocolate eggs
     To add fat to your hips.

Lovely, luscious, chocolate eggs -
     They’re tempting as you see,
But . . .  Mummy, Daddy, sister too?
      Yes!  They’re not all meant for me.
