F I E R C E
(A Simile Poem)
By Josie Whitehead
As fierce as the dragon that blows out the flames.
As fierce as the fire burning forests and plains.
As fierce as a tiger that strikes down its prey
And as fierce as the wind on this winter’s day.
As fierce as the monster that creeps into dreams.
As fierce as the fox who lets out sharp screams.
As fierce and ferocious as the threatening bear.
Is your teacher ferocious? Oh goodness, take care!
