For the beauty of God’s earth,

Each new day He gives it birth.

     Warming sun and gentle rain,

     All we need to grow our grain.

     Hearts and hands and voices raised.

 

Thanks for the homes in which we live,

Our parents and the love they give;

     Brothers, sisters, all our friends;

     Our pets whose true love never ends.

For people in our world we pray –

Those who care for us each day.

     Aunts and uncles, grandparents;

     Special times with them well-spent.

Thanks for our school wherein we meet;

Our teachers’ friendly smiles that greet.

     Thanks for the fun, the games we play

     And guide us safely through each day.
