Oh please hold my hand, God, and lead me I pray:

           The one who'll accompany me all through this day.

                Be my carer, my comforter and also my friend

                Who'll travel beside me from birth to my end.

 

            When life has its troubles that cause me alarm,

             You'll surely be there then to save me from harm.

                   As my travelling companion by night and by day -

                   Stay with me in all that I do and I say.
