I’m a hap hap happy hippo

Who plays out in the sun.

When all you children are at school

I’m out there having fun.

I love to sit in water

Which keeps me cool when hot

And wallowing in a muddy pond

Is what I like a lot.

I’m glad I’m not a boy or girl

Who goes to school each day

And I think I’m very lucky

For it’s in my pool I play.

I’m a hap hap happy hippo

And a really friendly guy.

But now it’s time to go to sleep

So I’ll wish you all bye bye.
