JOSIE'S POEMS
Story Poem
About the London Eye
By Josie Whitehead
ISN'T IT FUN
ON THE LONDON EYE?
By Josie Whitehead
Isn’t it fun on the London Eye -
Especially from way up on high?
You can see many things that you normally can’t
And can easily touch the sky.
Isn’t it fun on the London Eye
When you’re far up away in the clouds?
The world seems so quiet up here in the sky
But so noisy down there with the crowds.
Isn’t it fun on the London Eye?
Look, the city below seems so small:
A miniature Buckingham Palace and Mall,
And, without doubt, the smallest St Paul’s!
Isn’t it fun on the London Eye?
There’s the Houses of Parliament there.
There’s so much to talk about down in that place,
Whilst up here, not one little care.
Isn’t it fun on the London Eye –
Away from the traffic and noise?
It’s brought lots of fun for so many folk,
But especially for we girls and boys.
