Light

The sun’s bright light awakens me
     When night-time says bye bye,
And all day long I’ll play with friends
     Beneath the sun’s bright sky.

Whilst I enjoy her golden rays,
     Night creatures like to sleep,
But when they come to life at night
Then in my bed I creep.

The light of day’s so very good
     For creatures of the day,

But when the stars come out at night,
The owls and mice then play.
