JOSIE'S POEMS

Funny Poems for Children

By Josie Whitehead

NOODLES AND DOODLES

By Josie Whitehead

Noodles and Doodles

Noodles and doodles

     And bright shiny things,

Candles and cushions

     And princes and kings.

Elephants, camels

     And reindeer with sleighs.

Soft gentle raindrops

     And long summer days.

Kittens with mittens

     And poodles with boodles;

Collies and lollies

     And oodles of strudels.

Tangos and mangoes

     And witches who snore;

Bicycles, tricycles,

     Tractors galore!

Poems that rhyme

     And poems that don’t!

Rhythms that will

     And rhythms that won’t!

Throw all the words

     In a heap on your floor;

Then read Josie’s Poems

     For I’m sure there’ll be more!
