JOSIE'S POEMS

Clowns .jpg
Noodles and Doodles

Noodles and doodles and bright shiny things –

Candles and cushions and princes and kings.

      Elephants, camels and reindeer with sleighs –

      Soft gentle raindrops and long summer days.

Kittens with mittens and poodles with boodles;

Collies and lollies and oodles of strudels.

       Tangos and mangoes and witches who snore;

        Bicycles, tricycles, tractors galore!

Poems that rhyme and poems that don’t!

Rhythms that will and rhythms that won’t!

      Throw all the words in a heap on your floor –

       Then read Josie’s Poems for I’m sure there’ll be more!
