Ode to the Apostrophe

A  poor and oft forgotten friend

P ut on this earth, but to what end?

O ft despised and viewed with scorn

S o little loved, we soon might mourn.

T o you who look condemned to die

R ise up and fight – don't sit and cry.

O blivious of your situation,

P eople just need education.

H ere's hoping we don't say farewell -

E nd his abuse and wish him well.

 

       Oh  - from an early age, may we

 

 Learn to love the apostrophe!
