RIDDLE-ME-REE

By Josie Whitehead

Dog
Riddle-Me-Ree
Mom with Stroller
Bird

I roam the world, my tail goes swish

But now I’m sitting on your dish.

Oh help!  I’m going through your lips

     Accompanied by lots of chips.

I’m often seen, I’m often heard

And some of us can speak some words.

I have some wings and a small tail.

I’m not a pig and not a snail.

My nose is wet, my jacket warm

And some of us love to perform.

I run and bark, but never mew.

I’d like to come and live with you.

My ………….. has many things to do –

She combs my I hair and ties my shoe.

When I fall down, to her I go –

Well who is SHE?  I’m sure you know.
