SING A SONG OF SAUSAGES

By Josie Whitehead

Sing a Song of Sausages

Sing a song of sausages

     Which are looking very good,

Sitting in the butcher’s shop

     Like all good sausage should.

A hungry little boy comes in,

     Who’s shopping with his Mum.

‘A tasty sausage would be nice

     Inside my little tum.’

Sing a song of sausages,

Which are sizzling in the pan.

Some eyes are looking at them –

     It’s that hungry little man.

Sing a song of sausages

Which go straight upon his plate.

There are no more songs of sausages

     For every one he ate.
