SING A SONG OF SEASONS

By Josie Whitehead

Sing a Song of Seasons
Sun
Rain Cloud
Pink Flowers
Rose 3

Sing a song of seasons
     Defined by length of day,
With temperatures and weather,
      Which change in every way.

Sing a song of seasons:
     Which do you like most?
Winters on the ski slopes
     Or summers at the coast?

Sing a song of seasons:
     Blossom in the spring –
Snowmen in the winter
     And summer on the swing.

Sing a song of seasons:
      Winter frost and snow,
Berries in the Autumn
       And gusty winds that blow

Sing a song of seasons:
      Something good in all:
Roses in the summer;
       Gold leaves in the fall.

Sing a song of seasons:
How strange if we had none!
It’s good to have four seasons,
     So let’s celebrate each one.
