DISPATCHING YOUR TICKLE

(Limericks)

By Josie Whitehead

Dispatching Your Tickle

A tickle arrived on my nose,

And then it hopped off to my toes.

      I scratched and I scratched

      And it soon was dispatched

But where it went, nobody knows.

But later that day it returned

And what do you think that I learned?

      It’s a very strange thing

But it jumped on the king

And his staff had been very concerned.

So if you have a tickle at all,

Even one that is terribly small,

     Don’t drive it away

     For it’s likely to stray

And most likely will visit us all.
