Mary had a little lamb

     And she also had a dog.

She had a cat, a budgerigar

     A mouse and then a frog.

Mary had a milking cow

     And she also had a pig –

But did she have an elephant?

     No, no – this was too big.

Mary had a kangaroo

     And a lion and tiger too,

But Daddy said: ‘Enough’s enough!

     Our home is like a zoo.’
