WITCH AND CHIPS

By Josie Whitehead

Witch and Chips

We’re going to catch the wicked witch

     Who lives in Witchy Creek.

You’ll have to walk quite quietly,

      And promise not to SHRIEK.

We’ve got to go through woodland now,

        But follow on behind,

And don’t get lost but keep up close.

        I wonder what we’ll find!

We’re going to catch the wicked witch.

There’s a river we must cross.

Oh don’t complain or grumble now.

     Remember I’m the boss!

Oooh and Ouch!  She’s waved her wand

And now I am a fish!

Oh how I dread to meet that witch,

With the chips upon her dish.
