Summer

In summer where I love to be
Is on the beach beside the sea.
To play upon the golden sand
Is what I think is really grand.

I take my bucket and my spade
And, when a castle I have made,
Along will come the rough old sea
And knock it down again for me.

Another thing I like to do
Is make a visit to the zoo.
I’ll see the monkeys doing tricks
And count the penguins one to six.

The tiger's got his eye on me
And a koala's sleeping in the tree.
Mum says it's five, we cannot stay,
But we’ll come back another day.
