Without

Without two wings, what can we do?
It could be quite a bane.
Then humans thought and, you know what?
      We invented aeroplanes.

Without a tail to wag?  Oh my!!
A tail greets in some style.
Then humans thought and, you know what?
     We manage with a smile.

Without a pouch, like kangaroos –
     What could we use instead?
We humans thought and, you know what?
      A pram’s a perfect bed.

Without the sharp teeth beavers have
To cut their way through trees,
We humans thought and, you know what?
We use a saw with ease.

Without a beak with which to peck –
     What do we have instead?
Yes, teeth, but why I just don’t know,
     For dentists cause me DREAD.
