Have you trained your guinea pig

     To  bark, play 'fetch' or beg?

Is he trained to chase the cats

     Or politely cock his leg?

Has he been to training school?

     What training did they  give?

Oh, if I've asked too much of you

     I hope you will forgive.

​

I trained my guinea pig, you see,

     And what did he do instead?

Oh, he quickly changed into a dog,

     Then jumped my gate and fled.
